Man injured in Beaverton house fire
A man suffered burns on his arms and legs in a fire that damaged a single-story Beaverton house Saturday afternoon.
Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue said the man was taken to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center for treatment. His name has not been released.
The fire began at about 3 p.m., Jan. 9, in the 6700 block of Southwest Briarcliff Circle. Firefighters found the injured man outside the home. Two dogs also safely escaped the burning house.
Firefighters extinguished the fire in about 30 minutes. Their efforts were hampered by clutter in the home and overgrown vegetation around the dwelling.
Investigators are looking for the fires cause. No damage estimate has been released.
