Wallace Medical Concern will host a “homeless health day” for Gresham-area low-income and homeless individuals and families on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at the Human Solutions Winter Family Shelter, 16141 E. Burnside St.

The event, sponsored by Kaiser Permanente, will offer a variety of health and personal services free of charge for homeless adults and children including urgent care and medical exams, dental care, health insurance enrollment, showers, haircuts, and connections to community resources.

Volunteers will provide a photo booth and face-painting for kids. A hot meal will be served between 1-2:30 p.m.

The event is hosted in partnership with Human Solutions. Medical services will be provided by volunteer medical professionals from Kaiser Permanente. Medical Teams International and Northwest Mobile Hygiene will provide dental services. Other partners include Project Access Now, Hands of Favor, Oregon SNAP and OnSemiconductor.
