State sets up Web tool to calculate kicker refund
Want to take your state tax kicker on your 2015 income tax returns? Oregons Department of Revenue is setting up a website to help people figure out how to collect their tax credit.
The state is returning a more than $402 million tax surplus to eligible Oregon taxpayers. No kicker checks will be sent. Instead, taxpayers will receive a credit on their tax returns.
The department launched What's My Kicker, an online tool that calculates the credit based on information from the 2014 Oregon tax returns. The tool is at www.oregon.gov/dor .
