Homeless camp relocation hearing postponed

COURTESY MARK LAKEMAN/COMMUNITECTURE - This is the concept plan for the new R2DToo homeless camp.Thursday's City Council hearing on relocating the Right 2 Dream Too homeless camp has been postponed because of a lack of a quorum.

The new hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18.

Mayor Charlie Hales, Commissioner Steve Novick, and Commissioner Nick Fish were unable to attend the Feb. 4 meeting due to unavoidable events.

The council was scheduled to consider a land vacation, a zoning confirmation letter, and an intent to relocate, all related to moving the camp from it's current location at Northwest 4th and Burnside to a city-owned parcel at Southeast 3rd and Harrison.
