Oregon City's Portland Cider Co. moving to Clackamas

The Portland Cider Co. announced last month that it is moving its cider production facility to a new, larger location in Clackamas in order to meet the growing demand for its cider products.

The company, founded in 2012 in Oregon City, is investing approximately $1 million to increase the size of its operation tenfold, according to Jeff Parrish, Portland Cider Co. owner.

“Our sales have more than doubled each year since we started bottling our cider in 2013,” Parrish said. “We will be able to produce over 1.5 million gallons of cider annually in this new location, which is a significant step in our company’s growth.”

The 20,000-square-foot facility, located in Clackamas adjacent to Interstate 205, will open in April to replace the company’s present operation in Oregon City. It will include a tap room where customers can enjoy an assortment of Portland Cider Co. ciders on tap, including their flagship flavors, Kinda Dry, Sorta Sweet, Pearfect Perry and Hop’rageous. Current seasonals include Mojito, Maui Cruiser and Passion Fruit. The tap room will be open from noon until 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and noon until 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The Portland Cider Co. has another location, the Portland Cider House, in Portland’s Hawthorne District, with cider on tap.
