Master Sgt. Garron Dahle is receiving the fourth-highest individual military award for meritorious service as a combat control craftsman while deployed to Afghanistan from Sept. 1 to Nov. 15, 2015.

The ceremony will be held at the Portland Air National Guard base adjacent to PDX.Oregon Air National Guard Special Tactics Airman Master Sgt. Garron Dahle will receive the Bronze Star Saturday, Nov. 4, during a ceremony at the Portland Air National Guard Base.

Dahle is with the 125th Special Tactics Squadron. He is receiving the fourth-highest individual military award for meritorious service as a combat control craftsman while deployed to Afghanistan from Sept. 1 to Nov. 15, 2015.

The Bronze Star was established in 1944 and is awarded for acts of heroism, acts of merit or meritorious service in a combat zone.
