Nov. 6 election ballot drop sites

A number of locations stretching across the county are available for you to drop off your Nov. 6 election ballot. Here are the Columbia County Elections Department-recognized drop sites.

• Columbia County Elections Department, 230 Strand St., St. Helens

A drive-by drop box is open in the lower parking lot behind the courthouse from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. On Nov. 6 the box is available between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.

• Scappoose City Hall, 33568 E. Columbia Ave.: Oct. 30 to Nov. 5 — 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Nov. 6 — 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• Rainier City Hall, 106 B. St. West: Oct. 30 to Nov. 5 — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Nov. 6 — 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• Vernonia Library, 701 Weed Ave.: Oct. 30 to Nov. 5 — Open during library hours. View schedule at www.vernonia-or.gov/living/recreation/library.asp.; Nov. 6 — 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• Mist-Birkenfeld Rural Fire Protection District. 12525 Highway 292: Oct. 30 to Nov. 5 — Open during office hours.: Nov. 6 — 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• Clatskanie Library, 11 NE Lillich St.: Nov. 5 — 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Nov. 6 — Noon to 8 p.m.
