The 4th annual Race Against Child Abuse will be held May 5, giving residents a chance to raise money to combat abuse through their athletic prowess.
Each year, participants sign up to run or walk through Columbia County to raise money for the county's Child Abuse Assessment Program, known as the Amani Center. This year the event adds a 10k course to its regular 5k and one mile events.
The start and finish line will be at Columbia View Park and check-in begins at 8 a.m.
The race route will work through St. Helens with the 10k course taking racers through part of McCormick Park.
