Now we can't be 'Indians' here in Scappoose?

Most of us in Scappoose don't think calling our sports teams 'Indians' is a slur in any way. We want our 'Indians' to win.

Will the 'thought police' make us change the name of our town next? What about the Pow Wow?

Why stop there.

Think of us, the much-maligned Irish. Always accused of fighting and brawling, looking green, sickly - even leprechaunish. Weird shoes, hats, clothing...definitely a stereotype.

Will we be asked to wear the over-apologizing Politically Correct Committee's victim's crown?

So I'd say, 'Hey PC Thought Police? Do something truly useful with your time and don't waste ours.'
