Pulling for Paul
The recent brass knuckle attacks (columnists Joe Conason, Rich Lowry etc.) on presidential candidate Ron Paul are instructive. In the meatgrinder world of politics, the attack dogs are sent out when above-the-belt blows fail to stop your opponent.
Congressman Paul's platform is resonating with Americans: sound money, bringing the troops home, repairing our own country rather than everyone else's, less liberty for the federal government and more liberty for Joe and Mary citizen.
It's hard to stop ideas whose time have come. Maybe I am not alone noticing who owns those dogs. I am not happy about these desperation tactics, but it is encouraging that those folks are getting desperate.
Go Ron Paul!
