Lions receive all-league XC honors

Four Lions, two Lady Lions receive all-league notice

Top finisher for the Lions was Bryan Strang with a tight fourth place overall. He made the all-league first team. Second team honors went to Nathan Reed, and Casey Cooke was honorable mention.

For the Lady Lions, Cynthia Fenrich finished 14th to make second-team all-league. Freshman Emily Hepworth received honorable mention for her 18th-place finish.

The boys finished second overall and made the trip to the state meet. The girls were much improved with a fourth-place finish.

Wilsonville won the boys meet with all seven runners in the top nine. Their top five were first-team, all-league. Ty James of Wilsonville was the top runner.

Sherwood won the girls race. Taryn Rawlings of Wilsonville was the first finisher.
