Paul Revis, Tyler Schillereff Cowapa League Players of the Year

League champion has 17 players receive all-league honors

Revis was Offensive Player of the Year and Schillereff was Defensive Player of the Year.With their football league championship, the Scappoose Indians had a number of players receive first team, second team or honorable mention.

Topping the list were seniors Paul Revis and Tyler Schillereff, Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year. Revis, a 5-foot, 8-inch senior, scored 30 touchdowns this season, some of them on defense, and leads the state in receiving catches and yardage. Schillereff, a defensive lineman, has been the mainstay of a voracious Scappoose defense.

Also receiving all-first team honors were: MattTAYLOR LOSSBlaser, senior offensive and defensive lineman; junior quarterback Taylor Loss; junior running back Carson Davison; senior wide receiver Kyle Kramer; senior linebacker Mick Vanek, and senior defensive back Kenny Bell.

Revis and Blaser made first team on both offense and defense. Revis, Schillereff, Blaser, Loss, Davison, and Kramer were nominated for the all-state team.KYLE KRAMER

Second team selections included Kenny Klippel, Justice Oman, Devin Ray, Branden Bailey, Blake Wills, Keegan Carey, and Matt Shoun.

Bailey Apon and Matt Shelby received honorable mention.

Second Team: Kenny Klippel, OL/DL (6-2, 240, jr.); Justice Oman, WR/DB (6-2, 175, jr.); Devin Ray, OL/DL (5-11, 210, soph.); Branden Bailey, OL/DL (6-4, 300, sr.); Blake Wills, OL/LB (6-0, 175, jr.); Keegan Carey, TE/LB (6-1, 170, sr.); Matt Shoun, WR/DB (5-9, 145, jr.).
