2013 Scappoose Hall of Fame Inductees

Athletes, coaches, volunteers honored by HOF

About 25 members of the teams turned out for the ceremonies. Coach Sean McNabb is shown bottom right. The two teams, as well as the already inducted 2000 team, went 13-0 on their way to their championships. The program was 39-0 over a three-year span.The Scappoose High Boosters Club honored athletes, teams, coaches, and volunteers at the Scappoose High 2013 Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Saturday night.

The biggest contingent were members of the unbeaten 2001, 2002 state championship football teams. Coach Sean McNabb spoke of their accomplishments.

Others inducted into the Hall of Fame included:

Neil Lordos, 1982 state championship baseball coach, teacher, administrator;

Jan Hildreth, school board member, community leader, advocate for youth programs;

Kellia Sande, (1997) all-state track (long jump record holder), all-league basketball;

Jamie Hasenkamp Wright, (1997) volleyball,by: BETH ZELFER - Jamie Hasenkamp Wright basketball, all-state softball (and collegiate softball at Concordia), all-conceference and regional all-star;

Jayme Bennett Frazier, 1985 all-league volleyball, basketball, and softball (now head volleyball coach at Linn Benton Community College);

Brothers Adam (2001) and Ian Hagen (1999), high school golf and collegiate golf. Ian was all-state, district and OSAA champion, and Golfer of the Year. Adam was all-state, district champion and also Oregon Golfer of the Year.

The Hall of Fame was sponsored by the SHS Booster Club, Dr. Kendall Liday, All State Insurance, Alliance Capital Group, Windemere Realty, Napa Auto Parts, Precision Engraving and Varsity Grill.
