Girls win shortened tennis matches
Lady Lions add wins over Putnam, Milwaukie
The St. Helens Lady Lions picked up two wins in rain-shortened matches over the past week.
The team topped Putnam 4-0, winning four matches and ahead by a set in their No. 2 singles match. They were also up 4-0 against Milwaukie and had the tiebreaker with total sets won. The team also lost a match to league leading Sherwood, 8-0, on Monday night.
The team was at Sandy on Tuesday, travels to Wilsonville Wednesday, and hosts Liberty Thursday.
