Lions improve, but still short a win

St. Helens falls to Wilsonville three times and Sandy in make-up game
by: John Brewington BASE HIT—St. Helens’ Wyatt Mosely cranks out a hit during Wednesday’s game with Wilsonville.

The St. Helens Lions are making some of their games closer, but youth, injuries, and other problems still stymie their efforts to record a win.

The team took on Wilsonville three times last week, losing two fairly close games and one, well, not so close.

Monday night, they made up a game with Sandy, also coming up on the short end of the score.

The Lions are in a three-game series with Liberty this week. They are home this Friday. Next week, it's a three-game series with Milwaukie.
