Gall named to League of Oregon Cities board
Sherwood City Manager Joe Gall has been named to the League of Oregon Cities board of directors for 2013. The league selected its board during its 87th Annual Conference held Sept. 27-29 in Salem. The new officers and directors were elected by the Leagues general membership at their annual business meeting.
Gall, who was named Sherwood city manager last spring, joins 11 other local officials who were named to the board including Sherilyn Lombos, Tualatin city manager, and Denny Doyle, mayor of Beaverton.
Founded in 1925, the League of Oregon Cities is a voluntary association representing all 242 of Oregons incorporated cities. It helps city governments serve their citizens by providing legislative services, policy setting, intergovernmental relations, conferences and training, technical assistance and publications.
