Parade, tree-lighting delight Sherwood residents

Despite a little rain, the Robin Hood Festival Association's Winter Festival came off without a hitch, highlighted by a parade, visits by Santa and the annual tree lighting.
The parade began at Sherwood Plaza, winding its way to the Old Town area. There, parade-followers enjoyed free hot dogs, cocoa and cookies before the tree lighting, held for the first time in the Cannery Square Plaza next to Sherwood City Hall.
