The annual “Middleton’s Got Talent” show performed at Middleton Elementary School on Thursday evening, May 8th, confirmed that this Sherwood school does indeed have talented students.  Principal Jeremiah Patterson welcomed the audience, consisting of families and friends of the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade student performers.  The show consisted of acts ranging from a magic show and a student-built speaking robot demonstration to a variety of dancers, musical instrumentals and vocalists.  Expertise was demonstrated on pianos, violins, a cello, guitars and ukuleles.  Vocalists provided music ranging from serious to playful.  The evening ended with a finale of all students, including the announcers and stage crew members, taking a final bow and spelling out with placards “Thank You for Coming” to the audience.  Parent co-chairmen were Kama Carroll-Hull and Lynette Waller.
