HOOD — Tualatin’s Ben Juliana and the Sherwood High School boys ski team again raced well, as they competed in the Three Rivers League slalom event held on the Gemini course Saturday at Mt. Hood Meadows.

Juliana finished in 28th place in the individual standings for the event with a two-run total time of 1 minute, 39.6 seconds.

Kenny Ross led the way for the Sherwood boys. He finished in 34th place with a time of 1:53.87.

Also for the Bowmen, Stephen Hiser was 36th at 1:55.97 and Burke Boyer was 43rd at 2:11.95.

Sherwood finished in ninth place in the team standings for the event with a total team time of 5:48.24.

The West Linn boys finished in first place in the team standings and West Linn’s Trevor Maxwell was the individual winner.

On the girls side, Sherwood’s Leira Feves raced to 31st place in a time of 2:07.99.

Lake Oswego finished in first place in the girls team standings and Parkrose’s Emily Sarich was the girls individual winner.

The next Three Rivers League event will be a giant slalom race, slated for Saturday on the Shooting Star course at Mt. Hood Meadows.
