Three Oregon schools score high for eco-friendliness

Sierra Club ranks 96 colleges and universities
Three Oregon colleges and universities scored among in the top tier in Sierra magazine’s sixth-annual ranking of American’s greenest colleges.
The University of Oregon scored 13th-highest among the 96 institutions that filled in the Sierra Club’s detailed survey questions. Lewis and Clark College came in 21st, while Portland State University scored at No. 28.
The highest-ranked institution in the Northwest was the University of Washington, which came in No. 4.
