Start your spring cleaning early.

Got some busted electronic gear taking up space around the house?

Green Century hosts a free “e-waste” recycling day on Saturday, Jan. 5, at Lake Oswego High School, 2501 Country Club Road, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The public may dispose of unwanted computers, monitors, printers, fax machines, copiers, keyboards, mice, networking devices, miscellaneous office machines, televisions, VCRs, DVD players, cell phones, stereo and audio components, handheld games, cameras, telephones, washers, dryers, ovens and stoves.

Green Century is an electronics recycling company based in Portland. The company can provide destruction of computer hard drives, to assure confidential material is removed.
