Bill McKibben comes to town to discuss his new book
Climate change activist and author Bill McKibben will discuss his latest book, Oil and Honey, at a Portland fundraising event for the Oregon League of Environmental Voters.
The event is on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 7:30 p.m., at the Newmark Theater, 1111 S.W. Broadway.
McKibben is widely known for his books and articles on climate change, as cofounder of 350.org, and for his work against the Keystone XL pipeline.
Tickets cost from $20 to $36; those paying $36 will get a copy of the book.
