Portland EcoFilm Festival shows story of Keystone XL protesters
The Portland EcoFilm Festival will air Above All Else, a portrait of East Texas landowners and activists who tried to stop construction of the Keystone XL pipeline. The pipeline is a $7 billion project slated to transport tar sands oil from Canada to Texas Gulf Coast refineries.
The film will be shown Thursday, Aug. 21, at 7:30 p.m., at the Hollywood Theatre, 4122 N.E. Sandy Blvd. in Portland. After the screening, there will be a Q&A with film director John Fiege.
Tickets are $8, or $6 for seniors and students.
