Mayor Ted Wheeler featured in Climate Action Town Hall

Portland officials will discuss the city/county Climate Action Plan and policies to implement it, and take questions from the audience

The Let's Talk Climate discussion series will feature Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler and other city officials in a Climate Action Town Hall on Thursday, March 16th at 7 p.m. The free public event takes place in TaborSpace, 5441 SE Belmont St. in Portland.

Wheeler will be joined by Michael Armstrong, who works on environmental policy for the Bureau of Planning and Sustainability; and Nathan Howard, senior policy advisor to the mayor.

The mayor will speak briefly, followed by comments from his staff, with plenty of time for questions and answers in a town hall format.

Let's Talk Climate is put on by volunteers, with support from 350.PDX and Oregon Environmental Council.

Attendees are asked to make a reservation on Eventbrite: mayortownhall.eventbrite.com Organizers expect a big crowd, and advise people to come early to be assured of a seat.
