Pauline Cheryl Jozwiak

Longtime Sandy resident Pauline Cheryl Jozwiak died Wednesday, Oct. 31, at her home. She was 67.

Funeral services have been held.

Pauline was born May 25, 1945, in Franklin Township, Pa., to Bennie and Peggy Jozwiak. She was raised and educated in Apache Junction, Ariz., and graduated from Mesa High School in 1963.

On Nov. 21, 1964, Pauline married Roger Moore in Apache Junction. They moved to Sandy in 1972.

Pauline was a cook for Outdoor School and Christian camps at Eagle Fern Park until her retirement in 2010.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pebbles C. Moore, and brother, Bennie Jozwiak Jr. Survivors include her husband, of Sandy; daughter, Sandy Abshere of Sandy; son, Roger Moore Jr. of Sandy; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Jeannie V. Hower

May 17, 1954-Nov. 6, 2012

Longtime East County resident Jeannie V. Hower died Tuesday, Nov. 6. She was 58.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Sandy Funeral Home, 39551 Pleasant St. A graveside service will follow at Lincoln Memorial.

Jeannie was born May 17, 1954, in Portland to Robert and Velda Childers.

She attended Glenfair Elementary School and Reynolds High School.

Jeannie was employed at Goodwill Industries for 17 years, most of which were spent in San Rafael, Calif.

She married Conrad W. Hower 38 years ago.

Jeannie is survived by her husband; sons, Bill and Brandon Hower; brother, Jay Childers; sisters, Judy Weaver and Bobbie Childers; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Catherine Louise Anderson

Aug. 10, 1942-Oct. 25, 2012

Fairview resident Catherine Louise Anderson died Thursday, Oct. 25, in Hood River. She was 70.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at Good Shepherd Community Church, 28986 S.E. Haley Road, Boring.

Catherine was born Aug. 10, 1942, to Robert Woodrow and Margaret Virginia Craig in South Gate, Calif.

A graduate of Columbia Christian College, Catherine served with military personnel as a missionary in Germany.

She married Charles Anderson June 1960 in Norwalk, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband. Catherine is survived by her sons, Eric Anderson, Brett Anderson, Matt Anderson and Kirk Anderson; sister, Margaret Ann Cunningham; and four grandchildren.

Born to parents Melvin and Minnie Stotts in

Englevale, Kansas. She passed away at the age of 89.

She was preceded in death by her husband William (Larry) Haggerty, brother Merle Stotts, sisters Maxine Moffet and Ileen Minyard.

She is survived by sons Ronald and Rodney Haggerty, daughter in-laws Cheryl and Marsha, 5 grandchildren and

8 great grand children.

Larry and Lavon were married on September 5, 1944 in

Vancouver, Washington and celebrated 55 years of marriage.

She worked for St Judes Nursing home in Sandy, Oregon from 1967-1985.

She will be greatly missed by all of her friends and relatives. Those who wish may view Wednesday noon - 7:00pm.

Gresham Memorial Chapel.
