Information for the public safety column comes from public records of the Sandy Police Department. Police recently filed reports on the following incidents:

WARRANT ARRESTS

3:50 p.m. Nov. 5; Rosa D. Higdon, 23, Sandy, was arrested in the 38400 block of Park Street on three Clackamas County warrants for possession of methamphetamine, child neglect and endangering the welfare of a child. She was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $50,000 bail.

3:50 p.m. Nov. 5; Joshua I. Higdon, 22, Sandy, was arrested in the 38400 block of Park Street on three Clackamas County warrants for possession of methamphetamine, child neglect and endangering the welfare of a child. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $50,000 bail.

11 p.m. Nov. 5; Shane A. Dunford, 26, Sandy, was arrested in the 41000 block of Coalman Road on a Clackamas County warrant for failing to register as a sex offender. He also was charged again for not registering. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $55,000 bail.

11:43 a.m. Nov. 6; Jessie R. Rollins, 30, a transient, was arrested in the 19300 block of Langensand Road on an Oregon Parole Board felony warrant for absconding. She was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail without bail.

10:50 p.m. Nov. 6; Christopher A. Tucker, 43, Bend, was arrested in the 37500 block of Highway 26 on a Deschutes County warrant for possession of illegal drugs and illegal possession of a weapon. He also was cited into Sandy Municipal Court for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail without bail.

7:03 p.m. Nov. 9; Jenna L. Hollingshead, 20, Sandy, was arrested in the 17200 block of Scales Avenue on an Clackamas County warrant for criminal trespass. She was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $10,000 bail.

10:47 p.m. Nov. 11; Danny J. Woodward, 23, a transient, was arrested in the 17300 block of University Avenue on an Oregon Parole Board warrant for a parole violation. He also was charged with giving false information to a police officer. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail without bail.

CITATIONS

1:21 p.m. Nov. 5; Casey J. Joseph, 19, Sandy, was cited and released in the 37600 block of Highway 26, accused of theft and criminal trespass. He was booked and released at the Clackamas County Jail.

2:13 p.m. Nov. 7; Nicholas A. Fitowski, 20, Gresham, was cited and released near Proctor Boulevard and Revenue Avenue, accused of driving with a suspended license and speeding. The vehicle was towed.

THEFT

2:45 p.m. Nov. 6; the owner of a business in the 39300 block of Proctor Boulevard reported that someone had broken into a locked room and stolen several tools. Graffiti also was found near the business.

11:51 a.m. Nov. 9; a Sandy woman reported that someone had used her bank card to purchase items on the Internet.

2:35 p.m. Nov. 10; a Sandy woman reported she had lost her wallet at a business in the 37600 block of Highway 26, and someone had used her credit cards in Colorado.

JUVENILES

8:13 a.m. Nov. 7; a 16-year-old boy was found in possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana near the high school. The Sandy High School student was transported to the county juvenile department for enforcement action.

3:28 p.m. Nov. 9; three juveniles were observed smoking in a city park in the 38600 block of Barlow Parkway. They were kicked out of all city parks for 30 days.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

9 a.m. Nov. 5; During the previous month, someone placed graffiti on a bus stop in the 38200 block of Proctor Boulevard. The loss value was estimated at $20.

10:30 a.m. Nov. 5; During the previous two weeks, someone drove a vehicle into a portion of a garage attached to a rental home in the 39000 block of Dubarko Road, damaging the door and side paneling.

2:45 p.m. Nov. 6; Overnight, someone egged a home in the 39400 block of Trillium Avenue. The loss value was estimated at more than $100.
