The Village of Government Camp will light the tree in

the center of town at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15. Santa will arrive via the new Hoodland fire engine, and free refreshments will be provided by the Huckleberry Inn. Visit Santa on the porch of Vallian’s Ski Shop or throughout the day at Skibowl.

Philip Foster Farm is offering two days of “Christmas in the Country” from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 8 and 9, at the farm, 29912 Highway 211, Eagle Creek.

Christmas in Boring will arrive at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, when caroling begins around the community circle in the Boring Station Trailhead Park. Activities continue in the nearby Grange Hall when Santa arrives and lights the community tree in the park.

The Sandy Main Street Promotions Committee, with some help from the city of Sandy and the Sandy Area Chamber of Commerce, is presenting the holiday tree-lighting event, with hot chocolate and Christmas carols beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at Centennial Plaza in downtown Sandy.

The Abundant Life Church is presenting three bands in concert at its Damascus campus. The church also has a campus in Sandy.
