Information for the public safety column comes from public records of the Sandy Police Department. Police recently filed reports on the following incidents:

ARRESTS

8:20 p.m. Nov. 12; Wayne E. Morris, 54, Sandy, was arrested in the 39900 block of Davis Street under suspicion of assault. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $7,500 bail.

7:51 p.m. Nov. 13; Robert L. Snow, 54, Boring, was arrested in the 37400 block of Sandy Heights Street under suspicion of violating a stalking order. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $7,500 bail.

2:02 a.m. Nov. 15; Jason W. Fulps, 37, Boring, was arrested near Highway 26 and Orient Drive under suspicion of driving while suspended. He was transported to the Clackamas County Jail, where he was booked and later released.

2:16 p.m. Nov. 15; Joseph L. Baker, 36, Sandy, was arrested at his home in the 39500 block of Gary Street under suspicion of unlawful manufacture and possession of marijuana, and tampering with evidence. He was transported to the Clackamas County Jail, where he was lodged on $7,500 bail.

6 p.m. Nov. 15; Richard A. Cruikshank, 26, Sandy, was arrested in the 38700 block of Pioneer Boulevard under suspicion of violating a restraining order. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $7,500 bail.

6:33 p.m. Nov. 17; Christopher G. Hildebrand, 40, Sandy, was arrested at home after he was identified at a business in the 37600 block of Highway 26 leaving with a lot of unpaid merchandise. He was cited into Clackamas County Circuit Court and released.

WARRANTS

2 p.m. Nov. 16; Shasta T. M. Phillips, 21, Sandy, was arrested in the 39700 block of Gary Street on a Clackamas County warrant for failure to appear for driving while intoxicated. She was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $30,000 bail.

12:15 p.m. Nov. 18; Nicholas J. Henneman, 24, Damascus, was arrested in the 17600 block of Bluff Road on a Kitsap County, Wash., fugitive warrant. He also was charged with possession of prescription drugs. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail without bail.

CITATIONS

8:53 p.m. Nov. 12; Laura E. VanDerlyn, 49, Vancouver, Wash., was cited and released near University Avenue and Highway 26, accused of driving with a suspended driver’s license and possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana. The vehicle was towed.

THEFT

9:26 p.m. Nov. 15; an employee of a business in the 38600 block of Proctor Boulevard reported that three people had stolen merchandise without paying in the early morning hours.

8:03 a.m. Nov. 16; an employee of a business in the 36900 block of Highway 26 reported that an item of merchandise had been stolen overnight.

12:29 p.m. Nov. 17; a woman living in the 17300 block of Bluff Road reported to police that someone had opened an account at a wireless telephone store in her name.

JUVENILES

8 a.m. Nov. 14; a 16-year-old boy, a Sandy High School student, was taken into custody for possession of marijuana at school. He was transported to the Clackamas County Juvenile Department.

3:31 p.m. Nov. 15; a 15-year-old girl was discovered at Meinig Park smoking a cigarette. She was cited for minor in possession of tobacco and kicked out of all city parks for 30 days.

11:38 a.m. Nov. 17; police investigated the report of two juveniles who were reported absent from school for the first two weeks of November and allegedly living in unacceptable conditions. The investigator’s report was forwarded to the Department of Human Services.
