Truck veers into highway median
The Tuesday morning collision closed one lane of traffic
One lane of traffic on Highway 26 was closed for two hours Tuesday morning after a FedEx truck crashed into the highway median.
Shortly after 7 a.m. Jan. 17, a FedEx truck driven by a 49-year-old man lost traction on Highway 26, about six miles east of Sandy.
The truck veered into the center cable barrier, which is designed to prevent crossover collisions. The driver was not injured, but the collision damaged a section of cable barrier before coming to a stop in the middle of the highway.
