Here's Heidi
Timberline's leading lady barks about lodge life

Sandy Post: How would you describe your duties at Timberline?
Heidi: To greet guests and carry on a tradition the lodge has had for many years.
Sandy Post: What are your hours?
Heidi: My hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, which are the same as Kristin's (her owner).
Sandy Post: What's your favorite part of the job?
Heidi: Probably all the belly rubs, ear scratches and snacks -- especially the bacon.
Sandy Post: What are your interests?
Heidi: I love to play with other dogs, take long hikes and play at the river. I stay pretty active.
Sandy Post: What's your favorite part of the lodge?
Heidi: I love to just be in the snow. Several employees will ski down the alpine with me to Government Camp and we'll hitchhike back up or get a ride from Kristin.
Sandy Post: What's your relationship with Bruno like?
Heidi: I want to play, but he's still so little, and I have to be careful. We're going to be great friends someday.
Sandy Post: What's the hardest part of the job?
Heidi: Having my naps interrupted several times a day because people want to visit. You want to accommodate people, especially when they drive all the way up just to see Bruno and me. It's a special thing but sometimes it's hard.
