Local real estate agent changes offices

Having been a local real estate agent in the Sandy area for more than five years, Connie Knittle recently changed real estate offices.

Knittle worked for Pacific Pioneer Reality, 38985 Pioneer Blvd., in the past, but now has branched out to another office, farther into the heart of the Portland metro area.

Knittle works for M Reality, 17040 S.E. Pilkington Road, No. 100, in Lake Oswego. Knittle remains involved in the Sandy Area Chamber of Commerce and lives in Sandy.

Knittle wanted to assure her customers that she is still around. “So now, I work from a home office, I work from my car most often and I work in your homes. And the end result is that I find or list your home to meet your desired goals,” she said.

Facebook group helps residents find work

At the City Council meeting Monday, March 3, Council member Grant Baker announced he started work on a new project. Through a Facebook group called “Searching for Employment in the City of Sandy,” he is working to help unemployed individuals move forward.

Baker reported that on its first day, 140 people had joined the group.

As for its successes, Baker said he could safely say that since joining the group, seven people have found jobs.
