Community organizations support Naas projects

The Sandy Mountain Festival Board of Directors and the Damascus Boring Grange recently gave financial support for Naas Elementary student and school projects.

The festival awarded a grant to Naas to help support its student art program, and the Grange provided a donation to be put toward restoring the cover that protects the bell in the Naas atrium, which came from the original Boring Grade School.

Naas Principal Kimberly Brooks said the school greatly appreciates the support from its community and the benefits it will provide to students.
