Gresham woman seriously injured in crash
Wreck happened near Ripplebrook southeast of Estacada
A Gresham woman is in critical condition at Oregon Health & Science University following a single-vehicle crash this morning, June 13, on Highway 224 southeast of Estacada.
Roxanne Wilcox, 25, was transported by ambulance to Oregon Health & Science University.
The Oregon State Police investigation reveals she was not wearing seat belts when her westbound 2001 Infiniti four-door veered off the right side of the roadway and collided head-on with a concrete bridge railing post. The car's air bags did deploy.
The crash happened at about 5:30 a.m. Friday near Ripplebrook on the Mt. Hood National Forest, about 26 miles southeast of Estacada.
Oregon State Police were assisted at the scene by Estacada Rural Fire District No. 69.
