The Boring to Dull, A Scottish Journey tour has a few seats available
Several seats on a tour of Scotland are still available. Residents of Boring, Sandy and the mountain villages are joining a group tour created by local resident Lisa Foster of LT Travel at the request of members of the Boring Community Planning Organization.
Among many sights, the tour includes Glasgow and the worlds only rotating boat lift; Edinburgh, including the Royal Yacht Britannia and Edinburgh Castle; Glengoyne distillery and Loch Lomond; Inverness and the 13th century Dunrobin Castle; a mid-18th century battlefield and a demonstration of sheep dogs at work; and the most exciting part of the trip, a daylong visit with the people of Dull; and returning to Edinburgh the group visits cathedrals, castles, golf courses and finishes with a Scottish banquet, bagpipe music and dancing.
The tour is Oct. 6-14, and the price of $3,480 is based on a group of 20 and double occupancy.
