Sandy High senior McKenzie Warren won the hammer throw competition at the Junior Olympic Region 13 track meet last weekend at Summit High School in Bend. Her best effort came in at 152-feet-11-inches. She also took second in the discus (134-5) and was third in the shot put (39-0 1/2).

Also competing for the Team Oregon Track Club out of Sandy was Megan Romey, who finished third in the midget girls discus (67-6), while Keeley Rasmussen was fourth in the event (66-9).
