Sandys 8U team finished its summer with an 8-7 extra-inning win over Kelso Blue earlier this month.
William Anderson connected on a two-strike drive to center field to score Justin Radenmacher with the winning run.
Sandy kept the game tied 7-7 when Caleb Rinard caught a pop-up near second base and Aaron Menchaca fielded a grounder to get Kelsos lead runner at third base.
The 9U all-stars were led by Kaleb Moore, who was the teams top hitter, highlighted by going .867 at the plate during a tournament in Kelso. He played every position on the field with the exception of third base. Casey Allsop highlighted the defense by catching a line-drive that turned into a double play against West Linn.
