Tualatin Police investigate stabbing in Taco Bell drive-thru

Tualatin Police are investigating a stabbing that took place early Saturday morning in the drive-thru of the Taco Bell restaurant at 17873 S.W. McEwan Ave.

The call came in just after 2:15 a.m. When officers arrived minutes later, they learned the disturbance began between the occupants of two vehicles while they were in the drive-thru.

Witnesses described the confrontation between three or four suspects in one vehicle and two victims in another vehicle. Both victims are Caucasian men in their early 20s from Lake Oswego.

The first victim suffered stab wounds to the back of his neck. He was transported to Oregon Health and Science University for treatment and has been released. The second victim suffered a cut on his wrist and was treated and released at the scene.

The suspects were last seen leaving in a gold, gray or tan Suburban or Tahoe operated by a Caucasian woman with blonde hair. The other people inside the vehicle were described as being in their 20s with medium builds, more than 6-foot-tall, and wearing blue, plaid polo shirts. The suspects fled the scene toward Lower Boones Ferry Road.

Alcohol may have been a factor in this incident, police officials say.
