Henderson files for Sherwood City Council reelection bid, joining Clark, Folsom

Linda HendersonLinda Henderson, who has served on the Sherwood City Council since 2005, has filed for reelection for her Position 4 seat. Layperson, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from Oregon State University, and a Master of Business administration in both general business and human resources from the University of Oregon, filed Monday.

She currently serves as vice president of Sherwood Foundation for the Arts.

Henderson joins two other council members also seeking reelection, Krisanna Clark and Robyn Folsom.

Krisanna ClarkClark filed for reelection to her Position 5 spot on Friday. She joins Councilor Robyn Folsom who filed to run again for her Position 6 seat on July 30.

A community volunteer, Clark holds degrees in business economics and English from Willamette University. Her past occupations have included jobs as an insurance adjuster and supervisor, as well as a fitness instructor.

She was elected to the council in May 2011, reclaiming the seat held by her late husband, Del.

Robyn FolsomMeanwhile, Folsom has served on the Sherwood City Council since 2008. The current vice president of Voices for the Performing Arts Foundation (an unpaid position), Folsom holds a degree in accounting and has worked as a bank operations officer.

Deadline to file for the upcoming council race is Aug. 24.

Also running are two mayoral contenders. Keith Mays is running for reelection and Bill Middleton, a former Sherwood Police Department chief, is challenging him in the Nov. 6 election.
