Tualatin house fire kills dog

Investigation continues into the cause of Thursday's fire
Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue crews are investigating a house fire that claimed the life of a dog Thursday afternoon in Tualatin.
Firefighters arrived at the home, located in the 9200 block of Talawa Court, at about 4:25 p.m.
Crews found fire and black smoke billowing from the home.
Firefighters searched the home for occupants, and extinguished the blaze within 14 minutes.
No people were harmed in the fire, but a fire district spokesman wrote on the agency's Facebook page that a dog inside the home died as a result of the fire.
