U.S. Marshalls arrest Tualatin man

The neighborhood around Ibach Park in Tualatin was closed-off for about an hour on Monday as tactical officers arrested a Tualatin man wanted by federal authorities.

The U.S. Marshall’s Office, Tualatin Police and the Washington County Tactical Negotiations Team — the county’s equivelant to SWAT — arrested 34-year-old Frederic Dean at a home in the area Monday afternoon.

Dean was wanted by the U.S. Marshall's Office on a federal arrest warrant.

Dean was considered armed and dangerous, with access to guns and body armor, said Tualatin Police Lt. Greg Pickering. Tactical officers were called in as a safety precaution.

Dean was arrested without incident and lodged at the U.S. Marshall’s Office.
