Tigard-Tualatin to discuss cuts, budget at community meetings
The Tigard-Tualatin School District is holding two public meetings with parents, students and community members to discuss the budget for the upcoming school year.
Interim Superintendent Roger Rada will host the budget update meetings two nights in early April.
Rada will discuss the districts budget, the latest on what the state Legistlature will allocated for the districts funding. District officials are currently preparing for about $4 million in cuts next year.
The first meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 9 at Hazelbrook Middle School, in Tualatin.
Hazelbrook Middle School is located at 11300 S.W. Hazelbrook Road.
A second meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 10 at Twality Middle School in Tigard, 14650 S.W. 97th Ave.
The meetings will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
