The ninth annual “Walk with a Vision” is Sunday at Tualatin Community Park.

The 2.5-mile family walk raises funds for retinal research. Proceeds from Walk with a Vision support the Foundation for Retinal Research’s mission: finding treatments and cures for retinal degenerative diseases and supporting the lives of affected families.

The walk is organized by Laura Johansen of Durham, whose daughter Clara, 10, has Leber’s Congenital Amaurosis, a rare, hereditary disorder that leads to retinal dysfunction and visual impairment, often from birth.

The walk begins at noon. Strollers and pets are welcome. A silent auction, crafts and refreshments will begin after the event.

Cost is $15 per person, $80 per family.

Tualatin Community Park is located at 8515 S.W. Tualatin Road.
