by: SUBMITTED PHOTO - MullenNine years after he allegedly broke into a Tualatin home, a Tigard man has been sentenced.

On Friday, Bryan Mullen, 40, was sentenced in Clackamas County Circuit Court for a burglary on July 12, 2004.

Mullen, who has a long criminal history, allegedly broke into the home with another man.

According to Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, when the resident returned home and discovered he had been burglarized, he reportedly saw Mullen and an accomplice leaving the area in a hurry and noted the license plate on their vehicle.

Mullen was later arrested that December. After posting bail, Mullen disappeared and never showed up for his trial. An arrest warrant was issued, but Mullen wasn’t arrested until Clackamas County posted his picture online, listing him as one of the county’s “Most Wanted” in December.

Mullen turned himself in to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office in June. The Tigard man was sentenced to one year and seven months in prison for the 2004 break-in. He will also spend three years on probation.
