Tigard Police are investigating after two men were stabbed at an apartment complex early Wednesday morning.

At about 3:30 a.m., Aug. 20, police were called to Park Place Apartments, 11555 S.W. 88th Ave., in Tigard after a small group of men were seen fighting with knives and a bat.

Tigard Police spokesman Jim Wolf said that all the men involved were acquaintances and got into an argument which escalated into a physical fight.

Police found one man allegedly involved in the fight. The man had been stabbed and needed medical treatment. He was taken to Oregon Health & Science University hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Another man believed to have been involved in the altercation was found at a local hospital with stab wounds of his own.

Wolf said that a warrant had been issued for one of the two men, and he was arrested. Additional charges may be forthcoming.

Police are continuing to investigate.
