It appears the deceased driver's vehicle crossed over into incoming traffic and was struck by a mini-van.

Washington County Sheriff's deputies responded at 10:24 p.m. Monday to a crash on Southwest Roy Rogers Road north of Scholls-Sherwood Road. They found Marlene Macewan, 62, of Sherwood deceased at the scene and Calvin Taylor, 51, of Tigard with non-life-threatening injuries. The Washington County Crash Analysis Reconstruction Team investigated; evidence indicates that Macewan was driving her 1995 Porsche 911 south on Roy Rogers Road into the sweeping curve near the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge. She lost control of the vehicle and started to slide sideways around the corner into oncoming traffic.

Taylor was driving northbound on Scholls Sherwood and struck the Porsche in his lane.

Tayler was extricated from his 2013 Toyota Sienna by Firefighters from Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue. He was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
