Magno-Humphries recalls bottles of Basic Drugs brand laxative because of drug mix-up
Tigard's Magno-Humphries Laboratories Inc. is voluntarily recalling bottles of Basic Drugs brand of Senna Laxative tablets after a complaint that a bottle contained naproxen sodium 220mg tablets.
The company announced the recall Friday evening, Jan. 19. Some people taking naproxen sodium unintentionally could have adverse reactions. Magno-Humphries Laboratories said it had not received reports of any adverse events related to the recall.
The recalled bottles of Basic Drugs brand Senna Laxative, 8.6mg Sennosides have Lot#352300, EXP: 01/19 printed on the bottom of the bottle. Basic Drugs Brand Senna Laxative tablets were distributed nationwide.
Magno-Humphries Laboratories told its distributor by e-mail about the recall and is arranging for the return of the products. Anyone who bought the Basic Drugs Brand Senna Laxative Lot#352300 should stop using the product and return it to Magno-Humphries Laboratories or the distributor.
