The Wolves will look to get back on winning track Friday

HILLSBORO — The Tualatin High School boys basketball team will be looking to get back on the winning track.

The Timberwolves suffered their second straight loss in league play Tuesday, as they fell 99-71 to Century in a Pacific Conference game played at Century High School.

With the setback, Tualatin moved to 8-4 in Pacific Conference play (13-8 overall), putting them in third place in the league standings. Second-place Century moved to 10-2 in league play with the victory.

Senior Connor Scott led the Timberwolves in Tuesday’s game with 15 points. Senior Jon Fishback scored 14 and freshman Luke Osborn had 13.

Senior Maddison McCaffrey led Century with 33 points.

Prior to the loss at Century, Tualatin fell 86-77 to McMinnville in a league game played Friday at McMinnville High School.

Sophomore Jacob Bennett scored 19 points for the Wolves in that game.

Junior Joey Fishback had 16 points, senior Randall Tainer added 13 points and senior C.J. Michael scored 11.

Tualatin will look to end the two-game skid Friday when it hosts Glencoe in a league game starting at 7:15 p.m. at Tualatin High School. On Tuesday, the Wolves will finish their Pacific Conference regular-season slate when they play at Hillsboro at 7:15 p.m.
