After five months of preparation, 10 Gervais High School seniors will hit the stage Saturday night to compete for the title of Mr. and Miss Gervais.
The teens have been fundraising for Doernbecher Childrens Hospital through the Kids Making Miracles program.
For last years event, contestants raised more than $18,000 and the school has contributed more than $150,000 to the hospital since 1992.
The pageant started in 2001 and is dedicated to the memory of Gervais student Jovita Reyes, a Doernbecher patient who died Thanksgiving Day in 2000.
The pageant, which will feature a medley of musical and dance acts, singing and comedy skits, will start at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door.
