Woodburn High School will host a one-day basketball skills camp for athletes in fifth through 12th grade on April 19.
The clinic is divided into a pair of hour and a half sessions, focusing on speed, skills and strength training, with instruction and demonstration of the elite athletes who train at the Nike Skill Academies throughout the country.
The camp teaches ideas on how to enhance workouts by combining speed explosion, basketball skill development and strength training.
The clinic costs $25 per athlete. Students in fifth through eighth grade are invited to the morning session from 10 to 11:30 a.m. High school athletes are welcome to the afternoon session from noon to 1:30 p.m.
