Rimerman says she uses mixed media to create thought-provoking pieces that present something fresh each time you view them. As many as 22 layers of paint are applied on top of the initial foundations of charcoal, crackle and molding paste, which creates a 3-D quality and reveals hidden images that change in different light as the day and seasons progress. Rimerman takes inspiration for her work from her Pacific Northwest roots and her world travel. The exhibit is open to the public. Trainers Club is located at 333 S. State St. in Lake Oswego.
